Match Review (La Liga) : Leganes 2-4 Real Madrid

In this 90 minutes of football matches totally 6 goals scored. 4 by Real Madrid and 2 by Leganes. The match proved to have a few complications. Zidane and his warfighters breezed to a 4-2 win against Leganes even after none of the BBC featuring and got the important 3 points. Now RM is in the top of the table with 71 points.

In the first few minutes Leganes crossed many times inside Real Madrid's box. Morata got a good opportunity but missed his chance after dribbling his way.

On the 14^th minute Asensio jumped onto a pass and ran 40 yards and passed it to James who guided the ball easily into the net.

After 3 minutes from a Real Madrid corner Nacho knocked the header at the back and Morata put it into the net and made it 2-0. Anyway Morata got many chances to score. For his constant effort to score, Kovacic gifted a beautiful ball to score his second goal and made it 3-0.

At that moment of thinking of the game over, Leganes scored 2 goals successfully. Danilo was caught and Navas was not at his best to protect the first goal.  It was an empty net for them.

For the second goal a poorly defended corner was the main culprit. Navas didn’t have anything to do there. The first half ended with good saves from Herrerin and a 3-2 lead for Real Madrid.

In the second half at the 48^th minute Morata scored his hat-trick from the cross of James Rodriguez from a free kick.

Real Madrid got a two goal cushion. But Kovacic, Morata, Vazquez continued attacking the Leganes. Anyway Herrerin didn’t allow any other goals.At the last moment Zidane replaced James, Kovacic and Morata with Isco, Modric and Mariano. At the end Zidane looked happy. In this win BBC not featured. Real Madrid earned their 3 points standing on the top of the League table. Real can now face their city rival Atletico Madrid with their key players rested properly.

1.     Marco Asensio was superb.

2.     Danilo is in good form in recent games.

3.     Rodriguez also played awesome. He scored a goal and assisted also.

4.      Morata was in his best form. He scored his first hat-trick since he came back home to Real Madrid.

5.     Navas was pretty good.

6.     Vazquez was the star performer of last night.

7.     Zidane took a great strategy to give rest to BBC and Kroos before the big match against Atletico Madrid.
